A lot has happened in the last month for me, both personally and in my professional life. But if I take a step outside of the box and think about things objectively, a LOT has happened in the last 5 years of my life.
Graduating, becomming single again ;-), getting promoted, travelling the world, quitting my job, 2 Point 9 Records, Rishi Rich, the list is quite endless and when I look back at the last 5 years, its been a journey.
There is obviously a finite lifetime for everything and I think that I may organically be coming to the end of my lifecycle as an artist..... or maybe not.
Its actually a perplexing situation. I have been told that I am top of my game, although Awards and such like have not been forthcoming, I have been nominated. I've still been booked to tour internationally and represent the biggest name in the Industry, Rish Rich et al. But the fact of the matter still is, I do not have a product that I can put out into the market to "propell" my career as a Dj into the next plane of existance.
But, is this something that I need or can I let my deejaying do the talking for me, that is the question that is causing me concern right now. I have material, but maybe its not commercially viable enough, should that matter? I dont think it does, as the music I make is a reflection of me as a person.......
